SDV II: Updating Safely

Draft: Neither the schedule nor the content has been decided. The sessions may change.

Learn who checks, and how, that a car rewritten over the air is still safe. Designed as training for working professionals, it runs as six 3-hour sessions (twelve 90-minute sessions), with practice in your own work between sessions. Using one update from your own organization throughout, you will study three lenses on danger (failure, insufficiency and attack), the international rules for managing updates, what to check again, and approvals and records, and finally turn it into a pre-release checklist for that update. For students, a smaller version is offered.
